DESCRIPTION:In May of next year\, RSA will inaugurate a series of bien
 nial institutes on rhetorical studies. Scheduled for the years when th
 e Association’s regular convention does not meet\, the Institute is 
 designed as an alternative to the usual type of academic conference. T
 he Institute is designed for graduate students and junior faculty and 
 will involve concentrated study of a specific topic that will be lead 
 by a group of distinguished senior scholars.
